STIC CCN-CERT Conference marks a milestone for the cybersecurity ecosystem in Spain

The 19th STIC CCN-CERT Conference, held alongside the 7th ESPDEF-CERT Cyber Defence Conference and the RootedCON Congress, became a landmark event for the cybersecurity ecosystem in Spain, bringing together more than 7,000 industry professionals from across the public and private sectors.

Throughout the event, attention was drawn to one of the fastest-growing and most sophisticated threat vectors: vishing attacks driven by social engineering and AI-generated voices. Discussions focused on how organizations can detect, measure, and reduce human risk associated with this evolving attack surface.

Participation in this event reinforced the importance of collaboration and shared knowledge in strengthening national cybersecurity capabilities. It was an honor to be part of an initiative of this scale and to continue advancing the Human Firewall concept as a core element of digital defense.
