From awareness to human risk management: Kymatio shares its perspective with cybersecurity leaders
Kymatio took part in an Executive Lunch focused on the evolution from traditional awareness to visible and measurable human risk management.

Kymatio took part in an executive lunch organized by ISMS Forum to explore how organizations can evolve from traditional security awareness models to a human risk management approach based on visibility, measurement and the ability to take action.
Human risk as a business risk
Held on October 1, the event brought together cybersecurity professionals and representatives from different organizations to exchange perspectives on one of today’s key challenges: integrating the human factor into overall risk management.
David Sánchez, Chief Sales Officer at Kymatio, delivered the session “Human risk as a business risk: from awareness to human risk management,” in which he discussed the need to move beyond models focused exclusively on training and awareness activities.
Security awareness remains essential, but on its own it does not provide organizations with sufficient visibility to understand their actual exposure, identify the behaviors that increase risk or prioritize the most appropriate risk reduction measures.
From general training to data-driven management
The session highlighted that people do not all respond to threats in the same way. Factors such as context, decision-making processes, level of exposure and risk perception influence how each person responds to a social engineering attempt.
For this reason, moving towards a more mature management model requires organizations to identify and measure human vulnerabilities, understand how they evolve and use this information to define actions tailored to their specific needs.
This approach makes it possible to move away from a one-size-fits-all, periodic view of awareness towards a continuous and measurable model connected to the potential impact on the business.
A space for conversation among organizations
The event also featured the participation of Soraya Sabio García, Chief Commercial Officer at Audea, a Kymatio partner.
The lunch brought together representatives from organizations including WiZink, El Corte Inglés, Naturgy, Grupo Santander, Rheinmetall, Eurocaja Rural and Spain’s Guardia Civil, creating a valuable space to exchange perspectives on current cybersecurity and human risk management challenges.
Kymatio would like to thank all attendees for their participation and contributions to an important conversation about advancing towards a more strategic, visible and business-aligned approach to human risk management.
We would also like to thank ISMS Forum for organizing the event and creating this space for exchange between professionals and organizations.
