At the Financial & Fintech Innovation Summit, Kymatio shared how cyberpsychology helps organisations understand human risk and connect its management with the financial sector’s security challenges.
Financial innovation also calls for a fresh look at how security is managed. With this perspective, Kymatio took part in the eighth Financial & Fintech Innovation Summit on 27 October, held at Sala Truss in Madrid’s Movistar Arena and organised by Urban Event Marketing Agency.
The event brought together professionals from the financial and technology ecosystem to exchange perspectives on the sector’s transformation. Kymatio contributed to this conversation by focusing on how to integrate human risk into organisations’ overall risk management.
The human factor in security and business decisions
In an environment of technological transformation, understanding organisational exposure also requires considering how people perceive threats and make decisions when facing them.
This was the perspective shared by Andrea Zamorano Salardón, Cyberpsychology Manager at Kymatio, during her talk “The mind as an attack surface: cyberpsychology applied to human risk”.
The session explored the shift from an approach centred on security awareness towards management supported by measurement, visibility and prioritisation. Andrea examined how to identify actual exposure, support decision-making and manage human risk continuously, connecting it with its business impact.
A perspective shared with the financial ecosystem
Participation in FIS 2026 enabled the Kymatio team to share its approach with fellow professionals: human risk is business risk and should be part of the decisions that guide organisational protection.
Bringing this perspective to a financial innovation event helped place the human dimension within a broader conversation about technology, security and organisational development.
At Kymatio, we thank attendees for their interest and Urban Event Marketing Agency for organising the event and providing a space to share our perspective.
We also thank Andrea for her presentation and Kymatio team present at the event for their commitment, approachability and for bringing this vision to every conversation.
