Andrea Zamorano Salardón, Cyberpsychology Manager at Kymatio, spoke at the Mexico City event about how understanding human behaviour contributes to managing risk within organisations.
Kymatio took part in Neuron IT Forum 2026 on 15 October, held at the Hotel Marquis Reforma in Mexico City. The event brought together technology professionals and leaders to discuss cybersecurity, artificial intelligence, cloud computing and innovation.
Our colleague Andrea Zamorano Salardón, Cyberpsychology Manager at Kymatio, delivered the presentation “The mind as an attack surface: cyberpsychology applied to human risk”, exploring the connection between technology, behaviour and decision-making.
Understanding behaviour to manage risk
Managing human risk requires an understanding of how people perceive, interpret and respond to digital threats. Cyberpsychology provides a perspective on how psychological factors and context influence decisions that can lead to a security incident.
This approach helps organisations develop human risk management practices that account for the circumstances in which decisions are made and the differences in how individuals respond to a threat.
At Kymatio, this perspective forms part of our Human Risk Management approach: connecting behavioural insights with the identification, measurement and management of human risk, helping organisations tailor security actions to their needs.
Connecting technology and business
Andrea was joined by our colleagues Adán Barbabosa, Pre Sales Engineer, and Israel Morales, Director of Channels LATAM, supporting Kymatio’s participation and engagement with the region’s technology community.
Our presence at Neuron IT Forum helped advance a key conversation for organisations: integrating the human dimension into cybersecurity and connecting its management with business risk.
Thank you to everyone who attended for their interest, and to Neuron Business Media for creating a space to exchange perspectives on the challenges of security and digital transformation.
