Day 3 of #RSAC 2021: Enrico Raggini at Kymatio booth session (19 may 2021)

Cybersecurity and Human Factor 2021 Tendencies

From attacking systems to attacking people
Multidisciplinary approach, safety is everyone’s business
New rising factors

  • ¨If we have a look on how #attackers have been evolved in the last 10 to 15 years and recently, we can see that most of them focus more and more in #humans
  • ¨All kind of #cyberattacks are looking specifically for a short term economic benefit, if we look at these as a simple way of attackers we can see that the e-crime in the last 12 to 24 months have increased about four times.¨
  • ¨If we focus on the e-crime we will see that #employees and the human being specifically it is a key target and even today the main vector which is used to approach employees it’s still today #phishing
  • ¨There is a gap, a big hole of knowledge between what the #attackers are looking for and how prepared is the person by receiving these kind of approaches.¨
